Members of the Roscommon County Democratic Party held a meet and greet with Michigan Attorney General Candidate Dana Nessle. She discussed her credentials as an practicing attorney as well as outlined some of the changes she would like to make in the attorney general’s office if she is elected.
Ms. Nessle indicated that she is anti-fracking, supportive of the separation of church and state, and believes that Governor Snyder should be indicted for several actions that he has taken that she believes are in violation of the law while acting in his role as Governor of Michigan. If you are interested in supporting her candidacy you need to attend the Michigan Democratic Party Convention in Detroit on April 15th at Cobo Hall in Detroit. The Roscommon Democratic Party is considering providing bus transportation to the convention. If you are interested in attending, let the party know by March 15th. You can contact the party either through the Facebook page, the website, or by sending an email to rcdp48629@yahoo.com
Attending the convention with fellow dems is a great way to get involved in this year’s important midterm election as well as a great way to meet fellow dems.
